Ulster Championship Update

There was mixed success for Clann Eireann handballers at the weekend in the Ulster Championships.
Colum Shanks and Aidan McVeigh lost in the Under 21 doubles against Antrim but will be looking to put things right this weekend when they travel to Monaghan and Antrim to compete in the U21 singles.
In the Novice Singles Collie Carville lost to Antrim while Micheal Shanks beat quality Monaghan opposition to book a place in the Quarter finals.
At the Athletic Grounds there were wins for Charly Shanks and James Doyle in the Open Doubles against Tyrone and in the Masters B Doubles Clann Eireann duo Conor McMahon and Paul Murray ran out eventual winners against Monaghan.

Aidan McVeigh (Armagh) vs Niall Clerkin (Harps, Monaghan) 2pm @ St Mellan’s, Monaghan
