The Darts Revival

Clann Eireann Social Club has been able to welcome back a revived 'Darts Team'. Many years ago, in the foggy mists of time, this club once had a thriving darts section that included such legendary figures as: Raymond 'Sam' Lavery, Smokin Joe Harte, Vincey Mc Anoy, Tony Fitzpatrick, Ollie Leonard, Pedro McCusker, Jack McConville, and Gerry McEvoy. Sadly the team faded away, probably due to old age, and it was only until recently that a group of lads have got together and reformed the darts club. They are at present taking part in the local League and cup competitions and it is hoped that this bunch will continue playing in the club for many years to come.
